Fantasy Football ones to watch season 2019/20 gameweek four

|

We have reached gameweek four in the Premier League and FPL. Our gameweek three ones to watch produced a bumper point haul, as three of our four picks picked up points. We are hoping for a full house this week, so without further ado, here are our ones to watch for gameweek four:

Lucas Digne (Everton, £6m)

He was one of our FPL favourites last season. The French international looks determined to do well this season once again. The Toffees started the campaign with two straight clean sheets until a slight blip in a 2-0 defeat against Aston Villa in their last top-flight game.

Marco Silva’s side bounced back on Thursday night in a 4-2 victory over Lincoln City in the League Cup second round. Digne produced a man of the match display, scoring with a sublime long-range free-kick and also producing an assist.

Everton have a home game this Sunday against Wolves, which they are favourites to win. With games against Bournemouth and Sheffield United to follow, Digne will be confident of picking a good number of points in the next month.

Daniel James (Manchester United, £6m)

The Welsh winger has made a positive impact at Manchester United since making a summer move from Swansea. The 21-year-old has already scored twice in his first three top-flight appearances.

It is not just his goals that make him a good choice. The Wales international has had six shots in the opposition box, more than any of his teammates including the popular Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.

A visit to Southampton in Saturday’s early kick-off offers the youngster another potential opportunity to add to his goals and points tally. Matches against Leicester and West Ham after the clash with the Saints are not a daunting prospect for United either.

Todd Cantwell (Norwich, £4.7m)

The young Norwich midfielder has emerged as the ideal budget midfielder. Not only is he valued at just £4.7m, but he is also starting games and producing points too.

The 21-year-old has now produced two assists and one goal in his three Premier League appearances. The Canaries face a trip to West Ham this weekend before a home game with champions Manchester City after the international break.

Following those two potentially tough games is a good run of fixtures for the Canaries, which could prove fruitful for the youngster and his team.

Tammy Abraham (Chelsea, £7.1m)

There was some debate over which striker would be the focal point of Chelsea’s attack. Abraham started the first game, only for Olivier Giroud to replace him in the starting line-up against Leicester.

However, Abraham returned to start against Norwich last time out and showed his scoring instincts by scoring a brace. The goals should lift the 21-year-old’s confidence. He was prolific last season at Aston Villa in the Championship. The brace against the Canaries could just prove to be a catalyst for the striker scoring on a regular basis in the Premier League.

A home game against Sheffield United this weekend represents a golden opportunity for the youngster to build on his brace and cement his spot in the Blues starting line-up.
