The gameweek keep coming at us fast furious in FPL and we are now at gameweek 21. Our gameweek 20 picks yielded a decent haul. However, we are hoping for an even better return in gameweek 21. Here are our FPL picks for gameweek 21:

Ben Chilwell (Chelsea, £6.1m)

While many have prioritised Manchester City defenders over other high-scoring assets, Chilwell has gone slightly under the radar. The England left-back is a major attacking threat and is now playing in a relatively solid defence.

The appointment of Thomas Tuchel as Blue boss could be key to Chilwell picking up points, as the German has a knack for fielding a team that strikes the right balance between attack and defence, which could work well for the England star.

Chilwell has already scored two goals and produced four assists this season. A home game against Burnley this weekend could be a good one, despite the Clarets 3-2 win over Aston Villa last time out.

Harvey Barnes (Leicester, £6.8m)

The young winger has been in electric form this season, turning promise into actual tangible returns of late. In gameweek 20, he produced an assist for Youri Tielemans goal in a 1-1 draw at Everton. The assist means he now has three assists and six Premier League goals this season. He is now ahead of more illustrious and expensive teammate James Maddison for points this season.

A home game against Leeds this weekend will not be an easy one. However, Leeds are a very open team which should give Barnes the chance to pick up attacking points, especially considering the Foxes are so good at hitting teams on the counter-attack.

James Rodriguez (Everton, £7.7m)

Despite encountering fitness and injury problems in his debut campaign on Merseyside, the Colombian has shown his ability in the games he has played. Last time out he scored his fourth goal of the Premier League campaign, while he also has three assists.

The undoubtedly talented former Real Madrid star is a superb player to watch and is seemingly involved in all of Everton’s best attacking play. A home game against struggling Newcastle looks to be an ideal fixture for Rodriguez to pick up an attacking haul.

Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa, £6.2m)

With Jamie Vardy sidelined through injury and Harry Kane likely to miss a few weeks according to Spurs boss Jose Mourinho, FPL bosses will now have to rely on the cheaper forward options. One of those that offer promise is the Villa star.

The former Brentford forward has been something of a frustrating figure at times for FPL bosses this season. However, he has scored eight goals and produced four assists, so he has enjoyed a decent debut campaign in the English top-flight. He has also scored in his last two Premier League outings. A trip to out of form Southampton looks to be a good fixture for Watkins to add to his goal tally and net FPL players points.

Will any of our ones to watch feature in your gameweek 21 FPL team?
