Reports in Italy this morning are suggesting that Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis will not accept offers of less than $165m for star striker Victor Osimhen in order to put off potential suitors.

La Gazzetta dello Sport is this morning reporting that Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United are both reportedly interested in the Nigerian center-forward, whose meteoric rise this season has seen him contribute to an astonishing thirty-one goals in Serie A and Champions League matches this season.

Victor Osimhen latest transfer news: Napoli owner aims to put off suitors

Nigerian Osimhen, 24, signed from Lille in 2020 for a reported $80m making him the most expensive African transfer of all time. After relative success in his first two seasons, it is his form this season which has really put him on the lips of top clubs around Europe and his man-of-the-match performance in the 5-1 demolition of Juventus at home back in January, scoring two and assisting another was a particular highlight.

Osimhen scored a header in the 1-1 draw against AC Milan in the Champions League Quarter Final Second Leg, in which the Neapolitans were knocked out 2-1 on aggregate.
