On-loan Chelsea reject Denis Zakaria is set to move to Olympique Marseille in the summer.

Zakaria, 26, was signed by Thomas Tuchel from Juventus on transfer deadline day last summer until the end of the season but has failed to make a real impact at Stamford Bridge this term. The Swiss international has found game time limited and has only managed to score once for the Blues in 11 appearances, the winning goal against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League.

Denis Zakaria to move to France

Zakaria had only joined Juventus in January 2022 for a deal worth $9.5m but was deemed surplus to requirements by head coach Max Allegri. Now Foot Marcato journalist Santi Aouna is reporting that Zakaria is at the top of Marseille’s wishlist and the Frenchman will be keen to settle down and focus on his football after becoming somewhat of a nomad over the past year.
