Gvardiol was reportedly part of a three-man shortlist Jurgen Klopp had comprised in order to strengthen his backline, but according to Football Insider, the Reds have now been priced out of a move as they are not willing to pay the $100m asking price for the Croatian, who starred for his country at the World Cup, helping guide them to a third-placed finish.
