This season has seen Real Madrid’s league form take a dip and they are currently 11 points behind Barcelona with only eight games to go. However, it is seen by the Real Madrid hierarchy that Ancelotti has enough credit in the bank with the Italian helping guide Real to another Champions League Semi Final after a comfortable 4-0 victory on aggregate against former club Chelsea, according to Spanish newspaper MARCA.

Nicknamed Don Carlo, Ancelotti is believed to be currently relaxed at the club and has a good relationship with the Real Madrid locker room.
