Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Chelsea have joined Manchester City in the race to sign 16-year-old Croatian starlet Luka Vuskovic.
Vuskovic has broken into the first team this season at Hadjuk Split and since then hasn’t looked back, starting six of his side’s last eight league matches.
And according to Daily Mail writer Simon Jones, Manchester City have enquired about the central defender, who is currently priced at around $15m. But Liverpool, Newcastle, and Chelsea are now also interested in the defender, who has been compared to former Barcelona and Spain center-back Gerard Pique.
Man City favorites for Vuskovic’s signature
It is believed that City’s offer for the youngster, worth around $12.5, was rebuffed as the Croatian club, currently sitting second in the country’s top division- 10 points behind rivals Dinamo Zagreb, look to seek the full amount they value for their most profitable asset.
