PSG have reportedly set their sights on Jose Mourinho to replace Christophe Galtier this summer after the Parisians football advisor has reportedly spoken to the former Chelsea and Man United coach, according to RMC Sport.

PSG will call time on Galtier’s reign at the club this summer, and Mourinho has now emerged as the leading contender for the top job in the French capital.

Mourinho lined up for PSG job

Mourinho has enjoyed an excellent renaissance since joining AS Roma following his dismissal from Man United. The Portuguese coach landed European success with the Italian giants last season, as Roma claimed success in the Europa Conference League.

The legendary coach could yet add further silverware this term, as Roma remains in the hunt for the Europa League. However, Mourinho would likely be interested in the job at PSG, as he targets a third Champions League success.

The Portuguese is among a number of options being explored by PSG, with Zinedine Zidane and Carlo Ancelotti also on the shortlist.
