Napoli central defender Kim Min-Jae has reportedly agreed a deal in principle to join Man United next season.

The South Korean has been a star addition since signing from Turkish giants Fenerbache last summer and successfully replaced departing defender Kalidou Koulibaly who has had a disappointing debut campaign at Chelsea.

South Korean international bound for Old Trafford?

The 26-year-old has been a mainstay in a Napoli side that has won its first Serie A since 1990 and the South Korean has been a key part of the success, being nominated for the league’s Player of the Season award.

According to Italian sports outlet Il Mattino, Man United are keen on bringing in the defender to join Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez in the Red Devils backline as Dutch manager Erik Ten Hag looks to consolidate after an impressive first season with two wins from the final three games tying up Champions League football next year.
