Newcastle United have compiled a list of potential Galactico signings as Eddie Howe’s men aim to kick on after a fantastic season.
The Magpies’ 0-0 draw with Leicester City on Monday confirmed qualification to the Champions League group stage for the first time since 2003. And according to reports in Spanish newspaper AS, Newcastle have come up with an 11-man list of targets they believe will consolidate them at the top table of European football.
Shortlist of Newcastle targets includes Neymar and Harry Kane
Newcastle’s spending since their Saudi Arabian-led takeover in 2021 has mainly included shrewd signings, including England internationals Nick Pope and Kieran Trippier, as well as fan favorite Bruno Guimares and exciting young Swedish striker Alexander Isak.
However, according to journalist Aritz Gabilondo, Newcastle are set to flex their financial muscles this summer and will consider moves for Neymar, Harry Kane, Joao Felix, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Eberechi Eze, Mohammed Kudus, Moussa Diaby, Samuel Chukwueze, James Maddison, Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai as they aim to build a squad ready to compete on both domestic and European fronts.
