Paris Saint-Germain have become shock candidates for the signature of Bayern Munich left-back Lucas Hernandez.
As reported last month, the French international was set to sign a new contract with the Bavarians but since hearing of the Parisians’ interest, the 27-year-old has put advanced contract talks firmly on hold.

According to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, Hernandez is very excited at the opportunity of joining PSG and talks remain open between the player and the club but Bayern still remain confident that the left-back will stay.

Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos is reportedly a big fan of the attack-minded full-back and sees the Frenchman as a major priority this summer.
The full-back has been out of action for club and country since rupturing his anterior cruciate ligaments in the first half during his country’s 4-1 win over Australia in the group stage of the 2022 World Cup, where he ended up being replaced by his brother, Theo.
