Man United remain keen on out of contract Juventus midfielder

Manchester United maintain an interest in signing Adrien Rabiot at the end of the season on a free transfer.

The Juventus midfielder, 28, is out of contract at The Old Lady on 30 June and Red Devils boss Erik Ten Hag remains a fan of the Frenchman, who he initially tried to bring to Old Trafford last summer.

According to reputable journalist Fabrizio Romano, United remain in the race for Rabiot’s signature this summer and are quietly confident they can convince the defensive midfielder to join the club in the close season after he rejected the chance of a new contract to stay at the Allianz Stadium.

As a teenager, Rabiot played for Manchester City’s youth academy but returned to his native France shortly after, eventually ending up at Paris Saint-Germain where he won five Ligue 1 titles before his departure in 2019 to Italian giants Juventus.
