Manchester City have rejected Paris Saint Germain’s offer to include the Italian duo of Marco Verratti and Gianluigi Donnarumma as part of a swap deal for Bernardo Silva.

The 28-year-old is reportedly keen on leaving City this summer but according to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, City manager Pep Guardiola is not keen to let his Portuguese winger leave easily.

PSG want Man City star Bernardo Silva

Silva reportedly has had a great relationship with PSG director Luis Campos since their time together at Ligue 1 side Monaco, for whom the Portuguese midfielder played between 2014 and 2017.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Silva is still among the top targets for PSG but no deal is currently close with City expected to ask for a huge fee.

Silva’s teammate Jack Grealish was filmed yesterday pleading with Silva to stay at the club before City’s trophy parade in Manchester following their historic treble-winning season.
