Chelsea reportedly want to make Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana their primary goalkeeping target this summer.

The 27-year-old impressed the Blues hierarchy during Saturday’s Champions League final and cash-strapped Inter are reportedly open to a move for Onana, valuing their number-one keeper at $60m.

Onana was described as being “exceptional with his feet” according to City manager Pep Guardiola and the Blues are set to rival Manchester United for the Cameroonian, who displaced long-standing number one Samir Handanovic following his arrival for Ajax last summer.

According to the London Evening Standard’s Nizaar Kinsella, Chelsea are planning alternatives if they can not snap up first-choice Onana, with Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili, Borussia Dortmund’s Gregor Kobel, and Tottenham-bound David Raya all reportedly options.

Chelsea are seen to have a good relationship with Inter Milan following the deals including Romelu Lukaku, whose future remains unclear, and the signing of Italian youngster Cesare Casadei last summer.
