Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly has agreed personal terms with the Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal ahead of a summer move.

Koulibaly, who will turn 32 tomorrow, joined the Blues last season after spending eight years at Napoli and was built as a key player for Chelsea when he first arrived.

Koulibaly will become one of four Chelsea players set to swap West London for Saudi Arabia with Hakim Ziyech and Edouard Mendy also set to join N’Golo Kante in Western Asia next season.

According to Italian football correspondent Fabrizio Romano, Koulibaly will join Al Hilal on a multimillion-dollar three-year deal until June 2026.

The Senegalese international started his career at Chelsea in style scoring a powerful volley on his home debut against London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in August but has struggled to adapt to the pace of the Premier League, often being left on the bench and replaced by the younger and more mobile Trevor Chalobah.
