Juventus have agreed a fee with French side Lille to sign USMNT forward Timothy Weah for a figure worth approximately $13m.

The Old Lady have been in the market for a new wide forward since the departure of Angel Di Maria and head coach Max Allegri is close to reaching an agreement with Weah who is believed to be desperate for the move

According to Fabrizio Romano, Weah agreed terms with the Serie A side as early as Thursday last week and is now just waiting for Juventus to advance with the fee.

Wages proposals have already been accepted by Weah who is expected to sign a five-year deal with the Bianconeri and will join the likes of Frederico Chiesa, Dusan Vlahovic, and Moise Kean as part of the club’s attacking lineup.

Despite not scoring a league goal last season for Lille, Weah has been a star of the US’ recent success under coach BJ Callaghan, starring on the right-hand side of the coach’s 4-2-3-1 setup.
