Paris Saint-Germain are set to complete the signing of Bayern Munich defender Lucas Hernandez on a permanent deal.

The 27-year-old has decided against extending his deal at the Allianz Arena after being offered a take-it-or-leave-it contract by Bayern bosses.

PSG set to snap up French international

According to Fabrizio Romano, Hernandez will sign a three-year deal with the Parc des Princes club today after a change of management at the Allianz Arena at the end of the season decided that he was no longer indispensable to the Bavarians.

Hernandez will be immediately replaced by South Korean defender Kim Min-Jae, who is likely to complete his transfer to Bayern Munich within the next 48 hours.

The Frenchman has proved his versatility by being able to play at both left-back and center-back during a four-year spell at the Allianz Arena and will switch allegiances to PSG for a figure between $52m and $54m.
