Serie A giants AC Milan are keen to continue their US revolution this summer and sign midfielder Weston McKennie from rivals Juventus.

The 24-year-old’s future at The Old Lady is currently in doubt after being shipped out on loan to Premier League club Leeds United by current manager Max Allegri during the second half of last season.

Weston McKennie set for Serie A switch?

And with Allegri still in charge at Juve following a chaotic couple of months, McKennie is reportedly looking for an escape route with Serie A rivals AC Milan keen on making a move for the box-to-box midfielder according to Italian reporter Pietro Snicks.

McKennie becomes the third USMNT star player to be linked with the Black and Reds, following high-profile summer swoops for Valencia’s Yunus Musah and Christian Pulisic from Chelsea.

The Rossoneri are currently in the market to solidify the heartbeat of their midfield with top asset Sandro Tonali set to leave the San Siro for Premier League side Newcastle imminently.
