Bitter rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid are set to compete for the signature of 18-year-old sensation Arda Guler from Fenerbahce.

The attacking midfielder has been dubbed by the local media in Istanbul as the “Turkish media” due to his low center of gravity and superb dribbling skills on his favored left foot.

Following the departure of former Arsenal man Mesut Ozil, Guler fearlessly took the vacant Fenerbache number 10 shirt and delivered quality performances consistently for the Turkish giants’ last term.

According to Turkish writer Yagiz Sabuncoglu, Guler currently has the world at his feet with the opportunity of signing for Spanish rivals Barcelona, and Real Madrid as well as Italian giants AC Milan this summer.

In what looks like his final match for the club, Guler put in a man-of-the-match winning performance as The Yellow Canaries won the Turkish Cup final last month, beating city rivals Istanbul Basaksehir 2-0.
