Manchester United will make an offer for Rasmus Hojlund as their search for a first-choice striker next season continues.
United boss Erik Ten Hag can now fully concentrate on adding a new number 9 after the Red Devils completed the signing of attacking midfielder Mason Mount from Chelsea earlier this week.
Rasmus Hojlund set to be offered Old Trafford move
Hojlund is believed to have his heart set on a move to Old Trafford this summer and according to The Daily Telegraph’s Sam Wallace, the Danish international is Ten Hag’s preferred option in comparison to fellow attacking target Randal Kolo Muani of Eintracht Frankfurt.
United are set to offer Serie A club Atalanta $63m for the 20-year-old center-forward who scored 10 goals in an impressive debut campaign with La Dea last season. Hojlund’s contribution should help ease the burden off wide forward Marcus Rashford who enjoyed his best season to date for the Red Devils last term- scoring 30 goals in 56 appearances in all competitions.
