Barcelona have emerged as shock candidates for the signature of Tottenham Hotspur star forward Harry Kane next summer.
The England captain, who will turn 30 later this month, is still either expected to remain in North London this summer or move to German champions Bayern Munich- who remain Kane’s first choice after Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel met him at his house.
Tottenham forward Kane interests Barcelona
According to The Athletic’s Charlie Eccleshare, with only one year left on Kane’s contract at Spurs, Barcelona have joined the queue of clubs that have shown an interest in the predatory marksman. The Catalan giants will be priced out of a move for Kane this summer but are interested in moving for the England captain if he becomes a free agent in 2024 after snapping up Ilkay Gundogan and Inigo Martinez on similar deals this summer.

Kane is currently second in the all-time Premier League goalscorers charts- just 47 goals behind the great Alan Shearer, an ex-fellow England skipper.
However, Spurs fans’ prayers that that record will be broken by Kane for the Lilywhites seem to be dwindling with the club’s vice-captain believed to want to leave the club as soon as possible in his longstanding pursuit of the first major honor of his career.
