West Ham United and Nottingham Forest are locked in a battle to sign PSG’s Hugo Ekitike this summer.

The latest reports at RMC Sport have claimed that both Premier League clubs are interested in a move for the striker.

Hugo Ekitike likely to leave following Goncalo Ramos signing

The Premier League clubs will step up their interest in the striker over the weekend, as PSG are close to announcing the signing of Goncalo Ramos.

Ramos’s arrival means that Ekitike will play limited minutes this season, and the Parisians are keen to offload the 21-year-old in order to finance a move for another striker this summer.

Nottingham Forest and West Ham will face competition in the race to sign the forward, as the reports have claimed that Bayer Leverkusen are also interested.

Ekitike was close to moving to Newcastle, before agreeing to join PSG from Reims in 2023. However, the young striker made a limited impact throughout his first season in the nation’s capital, as he scored just four goals in 32 appearances.
