Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are considering making a move for highly-rated young forward Brennan Johnson from Nottingham Forest this month.

Hometown hero Johnson, 22, is a fan favorite with the Forest Faithful and is the second generation to play up front for the club after his father David starred for the club in the early 2000s.

Brennan Johnson set for big money move?

According to The Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg and Will Unwin, Chelsea have added Johnson to their list of attacking targets this summer after missing out on signing Michael Olise– who signed a new four-year contract at Crystal Palace earlier today.

Discussions over Johnson are at an early stage but the Blues will have to act fast if they are to acquire the versatile wide forward, who can also play as a central striker, with Tottenham and West Ham also considering making a move this summer.

Wales international Johnson scored an impressive 8 goals in his first-ever Premier League season last term and Forest value him at around $57.5m.
