Liverpool star forward is expected to turn down one final offer from Al Ittihad as the Saudi Pro League window slams shut today.

The 31-year-old Egyptian has been rumored with a move to the Gulf State all summer but according to French news outlet Foot Mercato, Salah will not leave Merseyside today.

Mo Salah set for Anfield stay

According to reputable journalist Santi Aouna, the Saudi side offered Salah an extraordinary contract worth between $500m and $600m to be paid over the next three years.

The deal would have seen Salah being paid in the same echelons as Pro League new boys Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar. After the Tigers snapped up Salah’s ex-Reds teammate Fabinho earlier in the summer, Liverpool were more determined than ever to keep their star asset and turned down a bid worth over $107m and substantial add-ons for him last Friday.

More realistically, Salah is rumored with leaving the club next summer with a deal still likely to be on the table by then.
