West Ham agreed on a deal in principle with Man United on Thursday for Harry Maguire, with the Hammers paying $38 million for the former Red Devils captain.

It was also reported later in the evening by Sky Sports that James Ward-Prowse was set for a medical at the London Stadium after a $38 million deal had been agreed for the England international.

Ward-Prowse’s signing is expected to go through without a hitch, and he could make his debut on Saturday. However, there are details to iron out with Maguire’s deal, as there is work to do surrounding the details of his exit from Old Trafford.
