Gunners visit the Cherries, as Wolves face the Terriers

|

Gameweek 13 of the Premier League continues on Sunday and Monday with three games taking place to complete the round. Here are the Premier League games taking place on Sunday and Monday:

Sunday

Bournemouth v Arsenal (Kick-off 1:30 PM)

Sunday’s early kick-off sees Bournemouth host Arsenal at the Vitality Stadium, as the home side look to move within touching distance of the Gunners.

Bournemouth have been one of the English top-flight surprise packages this season and currently sit sixth in the table. A victory over the visitors would put them within a point of the team from north London.

Despite their stellar start to the campaign, the Cherries have now suffered back-to-back defeats against Manchester United and last time out Newcastle.

Eddie Howe’s team does have a decent recent home record, as they have suffered just one defeat on home soil in seven Premier League games. The team from the south coast have also won four of their last seven games at the Vitality Stadium.

Arsenal have looked strong this season under Spanish boss Unai Emery. The Gunners are undefeated in 16 games in all competitions. However, the Gunners have found victories hard to come by of late, drawing their last three league games against Crystal Palace, Liverpool and last time out Wolves.

Emery’s side have not suffered an away defeat since their away game of the season at Chelsea, maintaining an undefeated record of four games in the process.

Goals have been the name of the game in recent Arsenal away games, as the Gunners’ last five games on the road have produced over 2.5 goals. Arsenal are favourites to win this clash, but the Gunners will need to beware of complacency on the south coast.

Wolves v Huddersfield (Kick-off 4 PM)

In Sunday’s late kick-off, Wolves host struggling Huddersfield at Molineux, as the visitors look to get out of the relegation zone.

Wolves have made a mixed start to life in the Premier League. However, the team from the Midlands form has dipped alarmingly of late, as they have failed to win in their last four league games, suffering three defeats in the process. Nuno Espirito Santo’s team ended a three-game winning run at Arsenal with a 1-1 draw.

The home side’s recent home record is mixed in the Premier League, as they have won two, drawn two and lost two of their six games this season.

Huddersfield are currently 19th place in the top-flight table, having recorded just one victory this season. In fact, the Terriers have won just one game in their last 16 league games dating back to last season.

However, David Wagner’s side has now picked up four points from their last two league outings. Last time out the Terriers drew 1-1 with West Ham at the John Smiths Stadium.

The team from Yorkshire have a woeful away record in the Premier League, having won just once in their last 15 away games in the top-flight. Town have actually drawn five of their last eight matches on their travels in the league.

Monday

Burnley v Newcastle (Kick-off 8 PM)
