Fantasy Football ones to watch season 2018/19 gameweek 31

|

We are back with our ones to watch. Unfortunately, gameweek 30’s ones to watch failed to deliver any points. However, we have high hopes for our gameweek 31 ones to watch. Here are our picks for this gameweek:

Lukasz Fabianski (West Ham, £4.8m)

With a depleted fixture list for gameweek 30, the goalkeeping options are very limited. West Ham number one Fabianski seems like an obvious choice, as he is facing bottom club Huddersfield, who are the lowest scorers in the Premier League.

At £4.8m, Fabianski offers value for money. The Polish international is the sixth highest points scorer among players in his position. With a home game against Everton after the visit of struggling Huddersfield to the London Stadium. Fabianski has been an FPL favourite in recent seasons, mainly due to the number of saves he makes.

Ryan Fraser (Bournemouth, £6.2M)

The Scottish midfielder has been one of the overachievers of this season. The former Aberdeen star is the sixth highest scoring midfielder this season having picked up 141 points, just ten points less than Manchester United’s Paul Pogba. Fraser’s return of six goals and ten assists in the Premier League. The winger had failed to return in nine league matches prior to last time out at Huddersfield when he scored a goal and produced an assist.

A home game against Newcastle this weekend gives Fraser the chance to add to his tally ahead of a favourable run of league fixtures. In fact, five of their next six league outings score two, which makes the £6.2m value midfielder one of the best mid-range options available for the rest of the season.

Callum Wilson (Bournemouth, £6.4m)

Just like his Cherries teammate Fraser, Wilson has been one of the top performers in his position. Only six forwards have scored more points than the former Coventry star.

Wilson has scored has 11 league games this season, while also producing nine assists. The England international had missed six league games before producing a goal and an assist in the Cherries 2-0 win at Huddersfield in their last league game. The striker will be confident of adding to his tally against Newcastle, as well as continuing his good scoring form in their upcoming favourable run. At £6.4m, Wilson represents one of the best value players in FPL.

Jamie Vardy (Leicester, £9m)

The former England international is not having the best of seasons in front of goal. However, the experienced striker has still scored 12 goals and produced four assists in the top-flight. Vardy has hot a superb recent run of form of late, scoring five goals and one assist in his last five Premier League outings. The former Halifax star scored a brace and produced an assist in 3-1 home win over Fulham last time out.

A trip to relegation-threatened Burnley this weekend gives Vardy a golden opportunity to add to his goal tally. The Foxes are favourites to record a victory against the Clarets. Leicester also have a favourable run of fixtures, with the next five games or scoring three or less in the FPL difficulty ranking, so Vardy should prosper for the next few weeks.
