We have reached gameweek 24 in FPL and have the added bonus of a double gameweek for some teams. It was a case of three out of four isn’t bad for us in gameweek 23, as Son, Coufal and Bamford all returned points. Here are our gameweek 24 picks:

Nick Pope (Burnley, £5.5m)

The Burnley stopper seems to be a no-brainer selection for gameweek 24. Not only does he have a double gameweek, but in opponents Crystal Palace and Fulham, he faces two teams that have not been wildly prolific this season in the top-flight. The doubleheader gives Pope prospects a big haul in gameweek 24. The fact that the Clarets also play struggling West Brom in gameweek 25 makes Pope a good selection for the next few gameweeks.

Erik Pieters (Burnley, £4.3m)

The former Stoke full-back may well prove to be a bargain double gameweek asset. If you can’t afford Clarets goalkeeper Pope, or defenders Ben Mee and James Tarkowski, the former Dutch international is not a terrible option.

The same plus points from Pope apply with Pieters. However, with the defender, you also have a chance of potential attacking points, as he has produced two assists in his last four Premier League outings. With good fixtures to come, the experienced defender could be a good FPL asset.

Phil Foden (Manchester City, £6.1m)

The young midfielder had been going through a slight dip in tangible returns until last weekend when he scored and produced two assists in the Citizens 4-1 win at reigning champions Liverpool. Foden is now on five goals and five assists for the Premier League campaign.

The performance against Jurgen Klopp’s side suggests that he is returning to form. Like with most City assets there is always the caveat of the Pep Guardiola rotation roulette. However, we believe he will now be given a run in the City team.

Playing as a false number nine, the midfielder will have a double gameweek, which consists of a home game against Spurs and a trip to Everton. Neither of those games are likely to be easy, but if City and their young midfielder are in form, they should continue their winning momentum. Many may have Foden’s City teammate Ilkay Gundogan in their team, but Foden is not a bad alternative.

Do you fancy Phil Foden to score in gameweek 24 and wish to place? If you do, then why not check out our betting page for Soccertimes recommended bookmakers.

Richarlison (Everton, £7.8m)

The Brazilian forward has not been in great form this season. However, on Wednesday night he scored a brace for the Toffees in their 5-4 extra-time win over Tottenham in the FA Cup. A switch to a more central position when Dominic Calvert-Lewin went off with a hamstring injury seemed to bring the best out of the Brazilian.

With Calvert-Lewin looking set to miss out on this weekend’s home game against Fulham and maybe the midweek visit of Manchester City. The second game looks to be a difficult one, but the Brazilian could still be a good differential in the double gameweek.

Will any of our gameweek 24 picks be in your FPL team?
