We are now in gameweek 28 of FPL, where has the time gone? We enjoyed decent success with our gameweek 27 picks, as three of our picks earned points. Hopefully, we can do even better this week. Here are our picks for gameweek 28:

Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa, £5.4m)

Villa’s Argentinian goalkeeper is fast becoming our favourite FPL asset. He started at £4.5m, but even at his current price of £5.4m Martinez is still a great choice as your set and forget goalkeeping option.

The former Arsenal stopper has kept four clean sheets in his last six Premier League appearances. However, Martinez seems to be a magnet for both save and bonus points at the moment. Villa visit struggling Newcastle on Friday night. The Magpies have struggled for goals of late and because of that, the Villa goalkeeper is a no-brainer for this week especially.

Youri Tielemans (Leicester, £6.4m)

The Belgian international midfielder has become even more vital for the Foxes of late, with both Harvey Barnes and James Maddison sidelined due to injury. Tielemans has produced a goal and an assist in his last three league appearances for Brendan Rodgers team. That doesn’t sound a great return, but the former Anderlecht player’s numbers maybe do not do him justice. He has scored six goals and produced three assists in the English top-flight this season. A home game with rock bottom Sheffield United this weekend seems to offer Tielemans the chance to pick up a decent points haul.

Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester, £5.6m)

The Nigerian forward has yet to deliver on his immense potential at Leicester or former club Manchester City. The fact that he has struggled for starts at times has not helped Iheanacho. However, he has been given the opportunity for more minutes of late with key players sidelined through injury.

Iheanacho’s recent form suggests that he is starting to turn the corner at Leicester. He has scored in his last two Premier League appearances, while also scoring in three of his last five top-flight starts. With a home game against struggling Sheffield United this weekend, Iheanacho will fancy his chances of continuing his recent scoring run.

Do you think that Kelechi Iheanacho will score against Sheffield United this weekend and wish to place a bet? Well, why not check our betting page for the bookmakers we recommend for your bet.

Richarlison (Everton, £8m)

The Brazilian international forward has hit top form of late for the Toffees. He has now scored four times in his previous five matches. That run includes scoring against Manchester City and Liverpool. The former Watford star is currently outperforming strike-partner Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who has struggled for goals since his return from injury.

The Toffees are still very much in the race for the European spots, as Burnley visit Goodison Park. The Merseysider’s have not been in great home form of late, but they are hard to beat and their Brazilian forward arguably offers them their biggest threat. If Richarlison is on his game, then he will be hard to stop, even if the Clarets have improved defensively of late.

Will any of our picks be in your fantasy team for gameweek 28 of FPL?
