Man United’s hunt for a new goalkeeper could be accelerated this weekend after the club have been altered by Porto’s Financial Fair Play situation.

The Portuguese club could be forced to see Diogo Costa this summer in order to raise funds, and 90Min has claimed that the goalkeeper has been offered to Man United and Chelsea.

The latest reports have claimed that the 23-year-old has been offered to United and Chelsea in recent days, as Porto look to raise funds. Costa is regarded as one of the best young goalkeepers in the world game.

The Portuguese international reportedly has a $70 million release clause in his deal. Chelsea have been assessing options all summer as they look to improve on their options already available.

Meanwhile, Man United look set to offload David De Gea after failing to agree on a new deal with the Spanish international.

However, Costa is one of a number of goalkeepers being assessed by both clubs, with United and Chelsea both also looking at Andre Onana.
