Inter Milan are set to make an offer for Bayern Munich goalkeeper Yann Sommer if they sell Andre Onana to Manchester United as expected.
The veteran shot-stopper still has eyes on starting next summer’s European Championships as Switzerland’s number-one but in order to do so the 34-year-old believes he will have to be playing regular first-team football next season.

And following the return to fitness of Bayern number one and club captain Manuel Neuer from a broken leg suffered on holiday last year, as well as strong rumors linking 22-year-old Giorgi Mamardashvili with a switch to the Allianz Arena, Sommer is thought to want to leave the German champions this summer.
And according to esteemed Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Sommer is set to be offered an escape route by the Italian giants, who will only make their move once Onana’s move to Manchester United is wrapped up in the forthcoming weeks.
