Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham has been pictured meeting Real Madrid star Luka Modric in Croatia amid speculation the veteran will leave Los Blancos.
As reported by Caught Offside’s Andrew Walker, the pair were spotted on the Croatian island of Sipan in the Dubrovnik area at the weekend after Modric came on as a second-half substitute in Real’s 1-0 victory at Celta Vigo on Friday- maintaining their 100% record in La Liga this season.
David Beckham keen on taking Luka Modric to the MLS?
Modric signed a new one-year contract extension earlier this year but with young England international Jude Bellingham keeping the Croatian legend out of Carlo Ancelotti’s side, Modric could well be set for a move to star-studded Inter Miami next summer.
Beckham has already managed to tempt fellow ex-La Liga aces Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba. And as of 1 July 2024, Modric would be able to join The Herons as a free agent without having to be registered as a Designated Player.
