Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is set to become the next star player to move to the Saudi Arabian Pro League.

The 31-year-old has lost his place in the side behind Spanish international Kepa Arrizabalaga and according to the Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Mendy is set for the Stamford Bridge exit door this summer.

Mendy leaves Blues after three years

The Senegalese number one is set to move to Al Ahli on a deal until the summer of 2026 after agreeing personal terms with the Jeddah-based outfit.

New Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino has begun his summer window clearout, with N’Golo Kante already moving on to pastures new, signing for Al Ahli’s Saudi rivals Al Ittihad.

And the list of outgoings is unlikely to end there, with Kalidou Koulibaly, Kai Havertz, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Mateo Kovacic, Hakim Ziyech, Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic, Romelu Lukaku, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek all expected to depart Stamford Bridge this summer.
